Ladies and Gentlemen,
The forums have been cleaned up and should now be porn free. At the same time a huge number of inactive ids (mainly of the same spammers) are being deleted. I think I deleted 9000 ids of non-playing members today. Some of you MAY have lost your ids in the cleaning, but this should be only people who are either under lvl 15 or have allowed their characters to disappear long enough to auto pwipe.
While creating new characters, PLEASE make sure its the same name as your DE character. This is the only way I have to ensure that the character corresponds to something in DE and isnt another of the viagra-porn sellers.
Lastly, the permissions for some of the ranks have been changed. You should be only able to post on the forum if your account has been verified by an imp. This is again a means of ensuring we do not a re-occurrence of the spam problem.
A new development on the forums are moderators with the ability to moderate discussion handed over to selected interested players. Clan officers have been given the power to moderate their own boards. I am yet to set the settings for General Discussion in order to let everyone get a chance. If you are interested in becoming one, note me in DE.
Also fixed some typos in forum descriptions, removed the TR boards and added some new boards for some clan/s (currently only CF) based on interest of the clan concerned.
Enjoy the forum! The number of users has certainly gone through the roof!
