In Character Description:

From the day he was born, Coar's parents knew he was destined for greatness. At his birth, a protective ring of fire and blood surrounded his mother, as if the gods were battling for his soul. All wanted him, so none were willing to bring him harm.

As he grew, it was evident that the Gods were still battling for him as their champion, for the sheer chaos that surrounded everything that he said or did nearly destroyed his village. Approaching manhood, Coar studied under only the greatest of casters and fighters, and began honing his skils.

When it was time for him to set out and make his mark upon the world, it was clear to all who knew him that power was all he sought, and he did not care who he had to kill, maim, or torture to do it. On the night before his trip to Prexion, he enlisted the aid of 2 wayfaring souls. A vampire, and a werewolf.

Coar had both the vampire and the werewolf bite him at the same time, counting on the fact that the Gods would not allow him to die. Though arrogant, he was right. All the gods still wanted him as their champion, but the agreed to do nothing to manipulate the transformation. This was his mess, and if he were to survive the almost lethal cocktail of vampire and werewolf venom, then they would decide what to do with him.

Though the Gods aided in his survival, they did nothing to ease the pain Coar experienced. For three days and nights he toiled with the poisons, and on the fourth day, the transformation was complete. The abomination, even greater so than vampires or werewolves, was a gruesome sight. His hands had mutated to the claws of a werewolf, and his teeth and thirst for blood was that of a vampire's. His body had become an evershifting powerhouse of fur and pale white skin.

Day and night for a month did he terrorize the realm, wreaking havoc on all that he saw, good and evil, orderly and chaotic, until the Gods came to yet another agreement. Their champion had become the most powerful mortal, but none of them controlled him. Coar was to be made one of them, so that his reign of terror might end.
